The audio in this post presents “highlights” of law enforcement and border patrol pursuing hundreds of illegal aliens in a single day in only one portion of a single sector.
It documents the detection, pursuit and/or apprehension of 517 illegal aliens around McAllen, Texas on 07/29/14, miles from the border.
The audio is an extreme compression of the detection, pursuit and/or apprehension of 42 groups of 517 illegal aliens in a portion of the Rio Grande Valley Sector.
As indicated below, that number does not include groups for which no count was given by Border Patrol agents or Texas DPS officers. It excludes enforcement incidents that were conducted over secure radio channels. Finally, it excludes groups that successfully evaded detection.
Why don’t we hear this in the media?
Significant Events in Audio:
- There were MANY alien groups being worked during this 24 hour period where the size of the group could not be determined.
- Audio clips are comprised of USBP radio traffic broadcast “in-the-clear” (un-encrypted) from the busy McAllen Sector.
- It is estimated that un-encrypted radio traffic comprises less than 30% of the total activity for any given time period.
Most of the activity overheard did not occur at the border. No doubt, the recent surge of UAC (Unaccompanied children) and “family units” is continuing in this area, but is being handled by DHS so as not to attract additional public scrutiny. Note the slight mention in this audio of UACs and “family units “where previously thousands have been know to cross in this area.
Knowing that UACs & family units present themselves to the nearest Border Patrol Agent upon crossing the Rio Grande to obtain their “permiso”, who are these people in groups of 20, 30 & 50 who are trying to evade the Border Patrol many miles north of the border?
(code 10:15 – aliens in custody)
